The new
model looks like a 2016 Toyota Corolla, this model will also bring
some
changes. This model is somewhere in the direction between the Camry
and Avalon,
2016 Toyota Yaris starts selling the fourth generation in
Europe.
2016 Toyota
Avensis should offer new engine options, together with listed
options. For
starters, the car will have a single petrol units and two oil
burners.
1.8L 'option gasoline 4-cylinder delivering 145 horsepower and
should be
tied to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. 2.2L 4-
cylinder
diesel engine provides both transmission choices as well, and
makes 148
hp. Finally, 2.0L 4-cylinder diesel engine puts out 122
horsepower
and comes exclusively with a manual gearbox that makes the
basic
option.
Previous
generation has come under a lot of scrutiny for its design bland
and
uninteresting. Things are different now as the new Avensis looks
better.
However, it does not have a revolutionary style, which is a bit
'natural for
mid-size sedans. First year gave sedan and wagon, and
hatchback
should be offered later. Front fascia of both cars was
attenuated
and has headlights look sharper and more contemporary. Both
models have
butts like even if they have different bodies. Large tail
lamps and a
chrome outline each other like a good choice.
At the end,
we're not so sure this update can transmit some significant
improvement
for 2016 Toyota Avensis. This midsize sedan is not the worst
in the
European market, but it really has no perspective to be improved or
even more
common then the new 2016 Volkswagen Passat or perhaps new
Mondeo.
However, the price should remain unchanged, even if the rivals are
going to be
more expensive.
